Winter is over … springtime has sprung … Leaves are appearing on trees

School-time is over … Fun has begun … For Clara, and Marcella, and Me

We stick to each other. … Like peas in a pod … As we run to a park in the trees

We’re best friends forever.  We’re “Musketeers Three.”  Clara and Marcella and Me.

We run through the playground.  We slide down the slide.  We climb on the jungle gym and hang for a while.   We swing on the swings and we fly towards the sky … Marcella … and Clara … and I.

We come home in time to finish our homework and have time to play hide & seek.

Now who is that peeking … from out of the closet?  … Maybe … Clara or Marcella or Me!

At night with our blankies close to our heads, we listen to music while lying in bed There’s no other people we’d rather be instead than Clara, Marcella and Me

We float in our dreams to place in the sea – an island of beaches and tropical trees

There’s nobody else there…. and nothing we need… just Marcella and Clara and Me

We drive to the seashore – a long way from home.  We run through the surf and we splash in the foam.  We build a sand castle and a fire at night. Clara, Marcella and  I.

We’re play pals, we’re partners ,and we’ll always be as close as any family can be.

We’re best friends forever.  We’re Musketeers Three.   Clara and Marcella and Me
