Each night the moon tells a story of loneliness and love, hidden within its shades of light and dark. And the quarter moon that’s falling – faintly like a dove – reflects the hesitations of your heart.
Once your love was like a river – running wild and free –never trusting anyone too far. Now you found someone who’s special – one who loves you tenderly. Now you feel the hesitations of your heart.
At last you’ve found a love that won’t let you down. At last you’ve found yourself a home. But you’re afraid that if you try to settle down, you’ll still feel the need to be alone.
And so you spend the night in silence – just gazing at the sky – trying to figure just how to work it out. But the stars that shine above you – like the stars deep in your eyes – reflect the hesitations of your heart.
At last you’ve found a love that won’t let you down. At last you’ve found yourself a home. But you’re afraid that if you try to settle down … you’ll still feel the need … to roam.
And so you spend the night in silence – just gazing at the sky – trying to figure just how to work it out. But the stars that shine above you – like the stars deep in your eyes – reflect the hesitations of your heart.
