I fell in love on a mountain one night … as the sun set the sky ablaze in golden shades of light. And when I stepped back to wonder at the shining stars above, I fell off of that mountain — and fell into love.

I thought we decided … We would only be good friends. With no ties to bind us … Only good times to spend. But that day when we went to play in the timberline snow. As the winds whipped all around the hills … you held me close and tight until … I stopped feeling cold.

And that’s when I fell in love on that mountain that night … as I listened to your tender voice and looked into your eyes. And when I turned around to think about the beauty of your charms, I fell off of that mountain and into your arms.

I’m afraid of expectations. So many people let me down. So I avoid infatuations … and keep my feet on the ground. But that night when you talked about … the feelings deep inside your heart … I knew once and for all. I could climb the highest peaks with you… and never be afraid ’cause you … would catch me if I’d fall.

And that’s how I fell in love on that mountain that night … as I listened to your tender voice and looked into your eyes. And when I turned around to think about the beauty of your charms, I fell off that mountain and into your arms.

Yes — I fell in love on that mountain that night … as the sun set the sky ablaze in golden shades of light. And when I stepped back to wonder at the shining stars above … I fell off that mountain — and fell (fell) (fell) … in love
