When I See Your Heavens – version “KeeEreh K9 vocS-4 Sht”

When I See Your Heavens — selections from Psalms 8 and 68 — © 2019 by Myron Schreck

When I see your heavens above
All that you created by your touch
The Moon, and stars, and planets
Are where they’re supposed to be
Moving through the heavens above

And who are we? Do we merit your attention?
Will our legacy on earth be worth a mention?
Although we are not angels,
You’ve honored us, by trusting us,
Placing all your handiwork at our feet.

Parent for the orphans,  Justice for the widows,
Shelter for the homeless,   Rain for the parched.
God gives us salvation, the Lord gives us the word
God gives us our burdens, the Lord gives us the word
God has commanded your strength;  Hear His mighty voice
So stand in awe of God, who gives us power and strength
